VLADIMIR PORTYANOY.
Vladimir Portyanoy (Portyanoi),a well known Russian painter, has had
many
exhibitions in Russia, USA, Italy and other countries. His works are in galleries and
private collections in Russia, Austrian, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands,
France, Germany, Switzerland, Yugoslavia, and the USA. He has been a member of the Union
of Artists of the USSR since 1983.
Some of those who have bought his works: "M'ARS
Modern Art Galllery", hotel "Bilkent" (Turkey),
art-coffee"Nostalgie", "Western atlas" (London) , Danmarks Radio,
galery "Renata" (Jougoslavia) and so on.
The themes of his paintings are diverse;among them you can find canvases influenced by the
mysterious Orient,passages from the
Bible and Russian nature. In each of his pictures, everyone can find something special.
