Lucifers Friend is one of my favorite bands of all time!! Can you tell me how or where I can find GOOD TIME WARRIOR on CD?

I bought "Lucifer's Friend" in 1972.
I still have the vinyl, I am looking for the CD.
Does it exist? I LOVE the album. It is one of my
all-time favorites. I never new anything about the band
until I visited this web site today. Did John do the
fantastic scream on the title cut in 1 take?
Awesome scream. The best of from that era.

The album I have is on the "billingsgate" label.

Please let me know about the availability of the album
on CD. I consider this ablum to be the best "dark" rock
ablum ever done.

I still get tingles when I hear the part after "everybody's
clown" where he sings "stop the world, I feel tired of life,
and in my head I'm so confused. Think of little people in
their big machines, that haven't got the time to feel used..."
OR, the song that has the words "blackness sliding
everywhere..."in it has got the nicest, sweetest guitars in
sync that I have ever heard. Ever.

The guitars, the melody, the singing - the best.

In the 70' ,I did see John several times on stage with the famous LHS.
That time, I did know an other singer of the Les Humphries Singers personally, his name is Victor Scott.
I was running the "Victor Scott Fan Club " in Berne, Switzerland. Later we lost contacts.

Hi John. Way back in 1973 when Larry was a hippie, everyone I knew was up in arms about the first Lucifers Friend album. I must have lisened to it 1000 times. It was advertized as "the best hard rock album since Led Zepplin 2". I still love it now, and listen to it all the time. Hearing the old time metal stuff makes you realize how pathtic todays "manson-deathmetal-blackmetal" shit is, and should be banashed to the outer darkness where it belongs. Ozzy and Sabbath are still great, and so are you. Let the fucking punks think were old farts. At least our music needed talent to play. A trained monkey on speed could play todays shit. I am a long time fan of Uriah Heep and like many others here, I saw Uriah Heep several times in the '70's. I saw the famous "Kiss" tour in Buffalo, New York (I was right up front for Uriah Heep but had to move back to the seats due to the intense heat from Kiss!) , and I will always remember the next concert, for Firefly , in a theater in Buffalo. Thanks to information from UHAS, I am trying to collect all the LF albums. The three I have are great, I play them all the time ( B, ME, GTW) and I love Sumo Grip. So to Rob, yes we want to see a Gunhill cd release. This is a great site, keep it up.
