The "Ballet Stars of Moscow" is a stellar troupe of 10 dancers selected from different Moscow theatres. The company which successfully toured the US, France and other countries is composed of principal dancers from Moscow's leading companies, "The Bolshoi Ballet", "The Moscow Classical Ballet" and "The Stanislavsky Theatre Ballet". The artists, many of whom are medalists at International Ballet Competitions, are considered to be among the world's finest classical dancers.

Natalia Ledovskaya

Natalia Ledovskaya was born the city of Vladikavkaz (Russia) in 1968. She has graduated from Moscow Academic Choreography School training under G.K.Kuznetsova. in 1986 she became a laureate of Varna International Ballet Competition, in 1994 she won a Golden Medal at the International Ballet Competition in Italy. In 1996 she was awarded a title of Honoured Actress of Russian Federation. She also created the leading parts in many premieres of Moscow Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko. Her repertoire includes Don Quixote (Kitri), Giselle (Giselle), Le Corsaire (Medora), La Sylphide (Sylph), The Nutcracker (Masha), Otello (Desdemona), Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), The Hunchback Horse (Tsar-Maiden), La Esmeralda (Esmeralda), Walpurgis Night (Bacchante), Francesca da Rimini (Francesca). She toured throughout USA, Italy, France, Spain, Australia, Latin America, Hungary.

Gennady Yanin Gennady Yanin

In 1986, Gennady has graduated from the Moscow Choreography School where he was in the class of Alexei Zakalinsky. He was then admitted to the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Theatre of Music where he performed solo and main parts at the ballets "Romeo and Juliet" (Mercuzio), "Swan Lake" (Jester), "Giselle" (classical duet) and others.

In 1995, he was invited to the Bolshoi Theatre Ballet Company. Gennady Yanin perfectly possesses the classical dance technique. He is artistically gifted. His repertoire includes Golden Idol ("La Bayadere"), Pas de deux ("Giselle"), Prince’s Friend ("Swan Lake", Vassiliev’s version), Modest Alexeyevich ("Aniuta"), Gipsy and Spanish dances (in the opera "La Traviata").

Natalia Krapivina 

Natalia Krapivina was born in Moscow in 1975. In 1985 she became a student at the Moscow Bolshoi ballet Academy. There she danced the leading roles in «Coppelia» and «La Fille Mal Gardee». She took part in Moscow Bolshoi Ballet Academy’s tours of France, Japan Greece and the USA. Graduated from the Ballet Academy in 1993, she was invited to dance with the Stanislavsky Theatre Ballet where she has performed Odette/Odile in «Swan Lake», Kitri in «Don Quixote», Masha in «Nutcracker», Cinderella in «Cinderella», The Sylphide in «La Sylphide», and other principal roles. In 1994 Natalia Krapivina toured Spain, Hungary, and also took part in the Stanislavsky troupe’s 1995 tour of Japan. In 1998 she has won Silver medal of XVIII Varna International Competition of young ballet dancers.

George Smilensky 

George Smilensky was born in 1975. He graduated from the Moscow Academic Choreographic School (Moscow Academy of Dance) in 1993. That same year, after winning a local ballet competition, he became a member of the Bolshoi Theatre - Grigorovich Ballet Company with which he toured France, Great Britain, the United States, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Italy. Leading roles have included the Prince in «The Nutcracker», Beranger and Jean de Brienne in «Raimonda», Prince Siegfied in «Swan Lake», the young fisherman in «Golden Age», Prince Fortune in «Sleeping Beauty». Since1995 Mr. Smilensky has worked with the Stanislavsky Theatre Ballet where he performed in «Swan Lake», «The Nutcracker», and other repertoire. In 1995 and 1997 he toured with the company to Japan. In 1998 he has won Bronze Medal at XXVII Varna International Competition of young ballet dancers.
Vitaly Breoussenko Vitaly Breoussenko 

Vitaly Breoussenko was born in 1969 in Priluki, Ukraine, and graduated from the Kiev Academic Choreographic School in 1988. Since 1995 he has been a leading dancer with the Stanislavsky Theatre Ballet where his repertoire includes Prince Siegfied in «Swan Lake»,also leading parts in «The Nutcracker», «Raymonda», «Don Quixote», «Le Corsaire» and others. He has been awarded Gold Medals at International Ballet Competitions in Perm, Paris, St. Petersburg, and Luxembourg. He has toured France, the United States, Great Britain, and Brazil. 
Oleg Kozhanov Oleg Kozhanov  

Oleg Kozhanov was born in Moscow in 1967. He has graduated from Moscow Academic Choreography School and in 1985 joined Moscow Chamber Ballet as a Soloist. From 1988 he is a principal dancer in Moscow Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko. In 1988 Oleg was awarded at the Ballet Competition in Moscow. In 1997 he has graduated from the Master’s Art Academy training under professor M.S. Drozdova. Mr. Kozhanov dances the leading roles in the ballets «Romeo and Juliet» (Romeo, Paris), «La Esmeralda» (Feb), «Le Corsaire» (Birbanto), «La Sylphide» (James), «Don Quixote» (Basil), «Swan Lake» (Prince Siegfried). He toured throughout Japan, France, Germany, India, Korea, USA, Italy, Spain, China.

Svetlana Kozhanova was born in Moscow in 1967. She has graduated from Moscow Academic Choreography School. In 1984-1988 she danced as soloist in «Moscow Chamber Ballet» company. In 1988 she joined Moscow Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko. In 1997 she graduated from the Master’s Art Academy training under professor M.S. Drozdova. Mrs Kozhanova dances the leading roles in the ballets «Otello» (Desdemona), «Romeo and Juliet» (Juliet), «Giselle» (Giselle), «The Hunchback Horse» (Tsar-Maiden), «La Esmeralda» (Esmeralda), «The Sleeping Beauty» (Aurora). She toured throughout USA, Japan, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Finland, China, Hungary. 
Svetlana Tsoi and Sergei Orekhov Svetlana Tsoi 

Svetlana Tsoi is one of the leading dancers of State Musical Theatre Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko. She joined theatre just after she graduated from the Moscow Academic Choreographic School. Svetlana Tsoi has won several prizes in International and Domestic Ballet Competitions. She has danced the whole of the company’s classical repertoire. Among all highlights parts of Odette/Odile in «Swan Lake», Giselle in «Giselle», Esmeralda in «La Esmeralda», Kitri in «Don Quixote».Particularly successful was her appearance in «The Spectre of the Ball». Side by side with Stanislavsky theatre she taking part in performances of «Kremlin Ballet» company since 1990. She has toured throughout in Japan, Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Greece, USA and other countries. 
Sergei Orekhov Sergei Orekhov  

has graduated from Moscow Academic Choreographic School in 1991. The same year he has joined The Stanislavsky Theatre Ballet. His repertoire includes Pas de Trois from «Swan Lake», Pas de Deux of the Countryfolk from «Giselle», Grand Pas from «Le Corsaire» and others. He has taken part in the Theatre’s tours both in Russia and abroad. 
Dmitry Dmitriyev and Yekaterina Safonova Dmitry Dmitriyev  

was born in Moscow in 1969. He has graduated from Moscow Academic Choreographic School studying under A.A. Prokofiev. In 1988 he became a soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre Ballet. In 1996-97 he was a soloist in «Kremlin Ballet Theatre» company. In 1997 he has joined the Moscow Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko as a soloist. His repertoire includes the leading roles in ballets: «Swan Lake»- (Prince), «Le Corsaire» - (Slave), «Giselle» - (Albrecht), «The Nutcracker» - (Prince), «Cinderella» - (Prince), «La Sylphide» - (James), «The Sleeping Beauty» - (Prince, Blue Bird). He toured throughout Italy, France, Japan, USA, Spain.

Anastasia Pershenkova 

Anastasia Pershenkova was born in Moscow in 1978. She has graduated from Voronezh Choreographic School studying under O.I. Saroiko. In 1996 she became a laureate of International Competition in Lausanne. After that she was invited for traineeship to Marika Bezobrazova Ballet School in Monaco. While training she toured with the School Company through Italy. In 1997 she joined the Moscow Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko as a soloist. Her repertoire includes «La Sylphide» - Sylph, «The Hunchback Horse» - Tsar Maiden, «The Nutcracker» - Masha, «Coppelia» - Coppelia, «Giselle». She toured throughout Japan, Hungary, Italy, Spain.
